My research interests revolve around high energy modifications of gravity able to cure the singularities of General Relativity or to feature well-known quantum gravity effects such as the trace anomaly and logarithmic correction to black hole entropy. My main focus is on theories with a finite number of coupling constants and exact black hole solutions such as Lovelock-Lanczos gravity and its conformally invariant scalar-tensor generalizations, as well as vector-Horndeski theory. I recently concentrated on the former, which arises from the low-energy limit of string theory, focusing on some of its basic physical properties such as its Quasi-Local Energy, Hamiltonian and null boundary terms.
