My research topic is Cosmology. It mainly focuses on the Epoch of Reionization (EoR) when ultraviolet radiation from the earliest generations of stars and galaxies ionized the primordial neutral hydrogen (HI) in the intergalactic medium (IGM). This global phase transition permanently changed the ionization and thermal states of the IGM and had far-reaching consequences for the subsequent formation and evolution of galaxies. I mainly focus on the 21- cm probe of the EoR which is the most promising probe of the EoR. My scientific contributions towards this have been modeling and studying various aspects of the EoR HI 21-cm signal, interpreting 21-cm observations and developing strategies for detecting the EoR HI signal.
