My research areas are related to high-energy astrophysics. Mainly, I study one of the most energetic events in the universe, Gamma-ray Bursts (GRBs). I study the dissipation and emission mechanisms,  and the geometry of jets in GRBs. The proposed mechanisms to understand GRBs from progenitor system to ambient medium should leave some footprints in the observed data. Through multiwavelength analysis of the prompt emission and afterglow, we obtain constraints on these mechanisms. I also study other cataclysmic events namely giant flares in soft gamma repeaters (SGRs). Also, nowadays, machine learning (ML) methods are being very frequently used to grasp information from complex astronomical data, especially for classification purposes, and I am using machine learning techniques for the study of GRBs.  I look forward to expanding the domain of my research in the field of Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), Gravitational Wave astronomy, and Dark matter physics.
